Introduction

Captain Dylan Hunt and the crew of the Andromeda Ascendant set out on a mission to rebuild the Systems Commonwealth 300 years after its fall.

The series combines elements of hard science fiction and drama, while dealing with social and political issues such as drug abuse, death, bribery, and intergalactic politics.

As Trance’s sun approaches, the crew journeys inside the artificial Methus-2 sun to repair it and fix the braking system that is supposed to guide Trance’s sun into position. They also go in for more fuel for Andromeda. The crew succeeds in fixing the sun and getting the fuel, but Trance is replaced by a doppelganger.
