Introduction

Much of Britain’s underwater heritage has been beyond the reach of investigation. Too difficult to find, too deep to dive, too dark and dangerous to film. Now, advances in dive technology bring these deep sea wrecks to the screen, revealing a world of secret weapons, negligence and atrocity.

Outline

Discover the ghostly remains of sunken ships beneath the waves. Divers explore the troopship SS Leopoldville. Almost 800 died when it was torpedoed in 1944.
