Outline
Tracy Borman goes in search of the lost palace of Henry VIII, a sumptuous group of buildings once part of the Tower. The king spent a fortune on the palace before his marriage to Anne Boleyn, only to destroy all memory of her after her execution. To discover what the lost palace might have looked like, Tracy visits Hampton court, where vast kitchens still survive. In Henry VIII’s day, they kept the king and his entourage fed. Tracy discovers Anne Boleyn’s initials carved in the Great Hall.
