Due to building works right outside Henry VIII’s chapel, a remarkable discovery is made: the first complete skeletons ever discovered by archaeologists at the Tower, buried for centuries while visitors walked innocently over their graves. The curators turn detective to unpick a fascinating puzzle of the Tower in Tudor times, featuring careful study of the bones themselves and intricate analysis of the buildings, before the skeletons are laid to rest once again within the Tower.
