Introduction

Baa Baa Black Sheep (renamed Black Sheep Squadron for the second season) is an American television series that aired on NBC from 23 September 1976 until 06 April 1978. It was part period military drama, part comedy.

Its original premise was based on the experiences of United States Marine Corps aviator Greg Boyington and his World War II “Black Sheep Squadron”.

Outline

The Black Sheep join forces with an Army Air Forces squadron on a top secret mission to shoot down Adm. Isoroku “The Hawk” Yamamoto, head of the Japanese fleet. Wiley has a romance with a young Eurasian woman who is hiding a secret.
