Introduction

Atatürk is a Turkish epic biographical historical drama film directed by Mehmet Ada Öztekin and written by Necati Şahin.

It follows the life of the founding father of the Republic of Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. It stars Aras Bulut İynemli in the title role, alongside an ensemble supporting cast.

First shown as two films and then as a six-part TV series.

Outline

After his business was disrupted by bandit attacks, Ali Riza Bey falls ill and passes away. Zübeyde, having already experienced the loss of a child, does not want her son to leave her side but Mustafa aspires to become a soldier. Young Staff Captain Mustafa Kemal is arrested and interrogated by secret agents of the capital due to his idealistic actions.
