Introduction
Atatürk is a Turkish epic biographical historical drama film directed by Mehmet Ada Öztekin and written by Necati Şahin.
It follows the life of the founding father of the Republic of Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. It stars Aras Bulut İynemli in the title role, alongside an ensemble supporting cast.
First shown as two films and then as a six-part TV series.



Outline
General Mustafa Kemal openly declares that he will not obey the order to refrain from resisting the British forces. He has come to terms with the reality that the Ottoman Empire is indeed the “Sick Man” of Europe, as they say. He returns to Istanbul. To the public, he appears as a loyal and withdrawn general, quietly loyal to Sultan Vahidettin.
