Introduction

The sixth season of Stargate SG-1, an American-Canadian television series, began airing on 07 June 2002 on Sci Fi.
The sixth season concluded after 22 episodes on 19 February 2003 on the UK’s Sky One, which had overtaken the Sci-Fi Channel’s number of new-episode broadcasts mid-season.
The series was developed by Brad Wright and Jonathan Glassner.
Season six regular cast members include Richard Dean Anderson, Amanda Tapping, Christopher Judge, Corin Nemec, and Don S. Davis.
Outline
As SG-1 and the SGC struggle to cope with Daniel’s departure, they find themselves facing a new threat in the form of System Lord Anubis.
Anubis has launched an attack against Earth by using an ancient weapon that will trigger an overload of energy directly into the Stargate which, if the attack is successful, will destroy the entire planet.
As the SGC scientists scramble to find a solution, Carter finds her abilities as both a scientist and military officer being put to the ultimate test with her woes increasing as her rival, Dr. Rodney McKay (David Hewlett) later returns to the SGC from Russia, having been ordered to do so by the Pentagon.
Teal’c goes off world after learning that his wife is gravely ill, but is left devastated when he learns that she has actually died.
