Introduction

LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles, also known as The New Yoda Chronicles, is a seven-part animated series that debuted on Cartoon Network on 29 May 2013 and 29 May 2014 on Disney Channel. It also includes an eleven-part “Mini Movie” web TV series that was released alongside the seven episodes.

It was written by Michael Price, who had previously written LEGO Star Wars – The Padawan Menace and LEGO Star Wars – The Empire Strikes Out.

Outline

Now that Darth Vader has recovered the Jedi holocrons, Luke Skywalker and his rebel friends are on the run. Stormtroopers march into the Mos Eisley Cantina. One of them hands the droid-hating Wuher a 1970s still photo of Luke, Princess Leia, Han Solo, and Chewbacca. The bartender denies seeing them.

Another stormtrooper then complains about the music, promoting Leia to switch off the music transformer. Spotted, the rebels race out of the cantina. Luke hurls a stop sign made out of LEGO bricks but fails to halt the Imperials. Han and the rebels send R2-D2 to fly the Millennium Falcon away. The Imperials fall for this ruse and think that the rebels have escaped aboard the Falcon and cease their search. Han hopes that R2 will take good care of the ship. Meanwhile in space, R2 holds a disco aboard the Falcon with a female-programming astromech droid.
