Introduction
Navy Log is an American drama anthology series that initially aired for one season on CBS.
It relates the greatest survival war stories in the history of the United States Navy. The series premiered in 1955, but the following year, it was moved to ABC, where it aired until 1958.
Outline
During World War 2, General Mark Clark arranges to meet with French leaders in North Africa. But the mission is nearly doomed when rough water prevents Clark’s party from withdrawing to a submarine. Captain Jerauld Wright, now an admiral and commander-in-chief of the US Atlantic Fleet, uses his skill to save the mission. General Clark appears in a special epilogue to the drama.
