Outline
Revisiting the aftermath of the events of the episode “No Small Parts”, after teleporting out of the Cerritos while it is under attack to save herself, Exocomp ensign Peanut Hamper finds herself abandoned in space when the USS Titan saves the Cerritos. After she barely escapes Drookmani scavengers in a ship she built, she lands on a planet inhabited by winged fauna and a sentient species, the Aerore, who are amazed by her technological abilities. As time passes, Peanut Hamper seems to change her mind about organic lifeforms which she used to despise. After helping the Aerore and falling in love with the chief’s son, the Aerore reveal that their ancestors achieved space travel, but war set them back to their native ways. The Drookmani soon attack, seeking to scavenge the lost Aerore starships. Outnumbered, Peanut Hamper sends a distress call, which is answered by the Cerritos. Peanut Hamper pleads for assistance, explaining how she’s learned to be compassionate, but her pleas are thwarted when the Drookmani reveal to everyone that Peanut Hamper contacted them to take the ships. Peanut Hamper reveals that she has not changed and only wanted to trick the Cerritos into rescuing her and forgiving her mutinous actions. She is placed in the “Self-Aware Megalomaniacal Computer Storage” section on Earth, where AGIMUS proposes an alliance.
