Introduction
Ross James Kemp (born 21 July 1964) is an English actor, author, and television war reporter. He rose to prominence in the role of Grant Mitchell in the BBC soap opera EastEnders. Since 2004, Kemp has received international recognition as a journalist for the BAFTA Award-winning documentary series Ross Kemp on Gangs.




Outline (Series)
All five episodes from the third war documentary series following Ross Kemp in Afghanistan. Kemp returns to the war-torn country ten years after 9/11 to investigate how the situation has developed. Travelling with Whiskey Company 45 Commando Royal Marines and encountering many dangers along the way, he explores what the future holds with the plan to remove soldiers in 2014.
Outline (Episode)
The actor comes face to face with the Taliban for the first time when he visits Pul-e-Charkhi prison, before revisiting Whiskey Company to gauge the success of their counter-insurgency methods. Having returned to Afghanistan to explore the human and financial cost of the conflict, and discover why troops remain there after 10 years, Ross reflects on his time in the country.
