Introduction
Lads’ Army (consequently known as Bad Lads’ Army, Bad Lads’ Army: Officer Class and Bad Lads’ Army: Extreme) was a reality game show that constituted a historically derived social experiment.
Shown on ITV, the series was based on the premise of subjecting today’s delinquent young men to the conditions of conscripts to British Army National Service of the 1950s to see if this could rehabilitate them.


Outline
Another tough room inspection is called a failure, so staff wrecks the entire dorm; John Kyprianou fails drill too. Corporal Murray threatens the hidden naffie goodies thieves: return and confess or no good stew and chips for the whole platoon. The cigarettes and tobacco remain missing, so everyone gets torture exercises. Suspect Chris Harkin is sent to Coventry and ratted on, nothing less then a confession will save his mates and he keeps denying, only at the last moment confesses but only the cigarettes; he gets fined fourfold value before jail and looses all …
